I’m ALO, an illustrator specialising in vibrant, story-driven artwork for children’s books, publishing projects, and creative products. At the heart of my work is a love for playful visual storytelling. The kind that captures a child’s imagination, sparks curiosity, and adds warmth to a book, a space, or an everyday object.

 

I see illustration as more than colour on a page. It’s a way of communicating gently with young audiences through expressive characters, thoughtful details, and carefully considered visual narratives. My work is rooted in storytelling, using colour and character to shape worlds that feel inviting, comforting, and full of life.

 

From whimsical characters that lead picture-book adventures to illustrated designs that bring personality to products, I work with publishers, brands, and creatives to help stories take visual form. Whether it’s a story waiting to be told, a product needing character, or a space that deserves something special, I approach each project with care, imagination, and intention.
